Kelsey Dickinson is a rare species of Colorado Native, born and raised in Denver, Colorado. A student at the University of Denver, She is currently pursuing majors in Studio Art and Italian, with minors in Business Marketing, and Leadership. Growing up surrounded by art, Kelsey chose the DU for college in order study diverse subjects that would inform her work best. This has allowed her to pursue many different opportunities.
Kelsey has worked as Design and Build Intern at the Museum of Outdoor Arts, where she collaborated with coworkers to plan the exhibition Altered Reality and also partnered on creating and installing all the pieces in the show. Her artwork has been featured in shows at the Museum of Outdoor Arts, the Republic Plaza, and the Vikki Myhren Gallery.
In addition to art, Kelsey loves to dance, is a fan of all genres of music, and enjoys getting out and exploring Colorado with her friends and her camera. She could eat sushi any day of the week and hopes to one day visit Japan to try the real deal. Last year, Kelsey studied in Florence, Italy, where she spent the fall semester intensively studying Art History, the Italian language, and which ristorante served the best gnocchi and vino. After her graduation in June, Kelsey plans on pursuing a career that requires her creative focus.
